Date Night

It's no secret... I love food! And I love trying new places even more. This weekend the Lad and I went on a very cute date. I wanted to try some place I'd never been so we hopped in the car and just started driving.... Inspite the cries of "I'm HUN-GA-REE" coming from the backseat, I managed to find Greystone Restuarant.  There was absolutely nothing fancy about Greystone.  And sometimes that's just perfect.

**If you've ever been around me for more than one day... Chances are you know my Big Red Clutch.  I'm convinced, it matches everything.  I found it at Hong Kong Vintage a couple years ago.  It changed my life.

Dear Peplum,

You make my life worth living!  Seriously.

For those of you with those super flat tummies you will not completely understand this post (and I hate you by the way). 

Peplum – A short overskirt or ruffle attached at the waistline of a jacket, blouse, skirt or dress. (aka: my best friend)

I am convinced… this was a woman’s idea… A woman who had just given birth, no doubt.  And I love her for this.  I worship her.  I exalt her.  I lift her name…. ok, you get it.  I mean, it just makes soooo much sense.  The higher waistband cinches at the smallest part of your waist and the ruffle hides any type of unwanted (uninvited) bulge around your tummy area.  Wait… I use “any type” loosely.  A peplum top paired with a skinny pant/jean or pencil skirt… WHAT?  I AM SKINNY and you can’t tell me any different!

Hello Lovers!

So, I have a new mission!  I WANT ORANGE LIPSTICK!!  Like madly!  I must admit, I fear it will make me look like a cheeseburger won't be flattering on my complexion.  But, I can be a bit of a make-up rebel and I love the challenge.
